Privacy Policy
Information we collect
Loretypes processes the answers you submit to calculate a quiz result. A random share identifier, score data, test version, and creation time may be stored so your private result link can work. We do not require an account, name, or email address to take a test. Submitted answers, entry page, and gender are not stored with the result.
Optional AI reflections
When enabled, Archetype AI reflections are requested only when you select Generate my insights. We send your stored result distribution, type definitions, selected situation, and optional text to Zhipu AI (BigModel) through its official GLM 5.3 Flash API. Raw quiz answers are not sent. LoreTypes does not persist the optional text or generated reflection: reports remain in the current page memory until you leave or refresh. We do not include them in result links, share images, analytics events or application error logs. To prevent abuse, Redis temporarily stores keyed, irreversible source/request fingerprints with a 60-second expiry and daily request counts for up to 48 hours; these contain no context text or reports. Your original stored quiz result has the separate retention described below. Zhipu processes the submitted data under its service terms and privacy policy. Provider processing, retention and legal obligations are separate from LoreTypes' current-page storage. LoreTypes cannot promise universal provider non-retention or exclusion from training. Do not submit names, contact details, or sensitive information. Review the current terms and privacy policy at https://bigmodel.cn before choosing to generate.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
With your consent where required, we may use analytics to understand visits and interactions. We may also use Google AdSense, which can use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure advertising. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are shown a consent choice before those services load.
How information is used
We use quiz data to calculate and display results, operate sharing links, prevent abuse, understand aggregate product performance, and improve the service. We do not use a quiz result as a medical, psychological, employment, credit, or eligibility assessment.
Retention and choices
Result records are kept with no automatic expiry so a share link can keep working while the feature operates. Anyone who has the exact unguessable result link can view that result. You can ask us to delete a stored result through the contact address below. Aura, Archetype, Moral Alignment, and Past Life answer drafts can be resumed for up to 24 hours. Owner markers stay in localStorage until you clear site data; they have no automatic expiry. Referral and result-entry attribution use sessionStorage for the current browser session. When you allow analytics, a random analytics identifier is kept in localStorage until you clear site data. You can change or withdraw optional consent using Privacy settings in the footer or on this page. Previously loaded advertising may require a page reload to finish stopping it.
